Loved the design of the original but wanted something with a bit more heft. Doesn't change the function at all, but I just like beefier parts and also wanted to add some extra depth to handle larger metric screw head sizes instead of being stuck with teeny drive screws.
Also added a bit of hidden flair on the underside.
