Dual purpose bird cage latch. This will fit maximum 2.3mm diameter wire on 8mm wide cages. Typical eBay bird cage fronts (see pics).
Lock position one: Door locked, recess on locking plate allows for slight door movement, but the 3mm recess ‘catches’ the door, preventing further movement.
Lock position two: Spin 180 degrees towards you, and the latch holds the door open.
I've noticed a few door locks / door opening latches, but not a combination of the two. Works well, and you'd need a really smart bird to suss out how to bypass this lock!
PRINT SETTINGS: Print sideways, flat. 100% infill and 4 walls. No supports needed, a raft may be required due to the small features. Uses 4m of filament per latch.
