Due to the lack of details in the standard game attunement sphere within Skyrim, I used in-game screenshots of the mod “JS Attunement Sphere and Lexicons SE” by @johnskyrim at Nexus Mods. There are 3 versions loaded, one complete sphere, a split in half model sized.
The large version has 8 slots around the inner edge of each side of the sphere for 8x3mm Magnets.
To stop the 2 sides of the sphere from sliding off each other, the inner tab has been added. I personally printed 4 for each side, see attached photos for the placement.
There is a mini version I am still testing to find the right magnet size to hold the two halves together, when
