Simple 3d-printable plate for corne v3 (with 19mm spacing).
References svg-files from https://github.com/foostan/crkbd/releases/tag/corne-cherry-v3.0.0
Since the original svg has randomness in the outside rounds, those have been replaced with simple arcs. Should be “close enough”.
The f360 file contains multiple parameters to change;
- thickness: total height of the plate (default 5mm)
- thin_height: height of the larger cutout (default 3.7mm)
- actual switch cutout height in expression (default 1.3mm)
- thin_radius: radius for actual switch cutout fillets (default 0.5mm)
- cutout_radius: radius for larger cutout fillets (default 2mm)
- outside_offset: offset from original plate outside edge (default 0.4mm)
- negative values here makes the print larger than original
- switch_offset: offset from 14mm cutouts for the actual switch cutouts (default -0.2mm)
- negative alues here makes the cutouts larger than 14mm
- cutout_offset: offset from 14mm cutouts for the larger cutouts (default -0.7mm)
- negative values here makes the cutouts larger than 14mm
- hole_diameter: size of the mounting holes (default 3mm)
- in contrast original corne has m2 and holes are 2.2mm
The parameters are also pointed out in the technical drawing (photo). The outside_offset has a warning since the original svg is not visible.
Friend needed one (and I needed photos). The “joku” step-file has following values for parameters:
thickness: 5mm; thin_height: 3.7mm; thin_radius: 0.5mm; cutout_radius: 1.5mm; outside_offset: 0.3mm; switch_offset: 0mm; cutout_offset: -0.5mm; hole_diameter: 3mm.
According to them, 0.6mm nozzle on prusa mk3s+ with these was perfect. Photos taken by them also (@joku1239_686286 on printables).
