fiber opic case

I designed a case for a fiber optic cable. The case has dimensions of 205 x 155 x 37 mm. The cable inputs and outputs are located either on the bottom or, if desired, on the top of the box. It is covered by a precisely fitting lid. If the lid is a bit too loose, you can, for example, stick felt pads inside the lid.

There is enough space in the box to store a few meters of cable, and it offers sufficient room for the connector either at the edge or in the middle. The box can be mounted on the wall using the holes on the back and can be secured with up to four screws.

I printed the case in PLA with 20% infill.

Ich habe ein Gehäuse für ein Glasfaserkabel entworfen. Das Gehäuse hat die Maße 205 x 155 x 37 mm. Die Eingänge bzw. Ausgänge der Kabel befinden sich entweder auf der Unterseite oder, wenn gewünscht, auf der Oberseite der Box. Abgedeckt wird es durch einen passgenauen Deckel. Sollte der Deckel etwas zu locker sitzen, kann man zum Beispiel Filzgleiter in den Deckel kleben.

In der Box ist genügend Platz, um ein paar Meter Kabel zu verstauen. Am Rand oder in der Mitte gibt es ausreichend Raum für den Stecker. Die Box kann an der Wand befestigt werden, indem man die Löcher auf der Rückseite nutzt. Sie kann wahlweise mit bis zu vier Schrauben befestigt werden.
