The wedge laptop stand is a practical and elegant way to elevate you laptop, perfect for setup with extended screen and external keyboard. It will elevate by approximately 45~ 50 degrees, laptops of any sizes, up to 2cm thickness.
The model is only the left-size wedge, you need to duplicate and mirror one instance of the part in order to obtain both sides.
Recommended print settings
- PrusaSlicer preset: 0.30mm DRAFT with modifications
- Layer height: 0.3mm
- Infill: 10%
- Number of perimeters: 6
- Seam position: Random
- Staggered inner seams: ON
- Careful ! Ensure good bed adhesion ! I had 1 print fail early because the back corners lifted from the bed and wrapped. slight live Z height adjustment during the first layer was enough for me to make the second attempt a success, but you may want to activate draft shield or use glue.
Print from the photo and more details
Printed in Prusament Galaxy Black PLA, on a Prusa MK3S+. I've added some adhesive felt inside the slots to avoid creating scuffs on my laptops, although I don't think PLA should cause such issue. The stand is perfectly stable even with a larger 16" laptop.\
