A small microtube rack with room for 8 tubes in 3 staggered rows. But the design is tileable such that multiple copies of the rack snap together to make a larger rack for as many tubes as you like. And for every added rack, you get one bonus tube well!

Each rack tile measures ~60 mm x ~53 mm x 30 mm high, including the snap-fit fins (54 mm x ~47 mm footprint excluding the fins).

Each tube well is ~28 mm deep and 11.2 mm in diameter (accommodates most 1.5-2 ml microcentrifuge tubes, which typically measure between 10.7 and 11 mm in diameter).

Print in PLA or PETG with 0.2 mm layers. No infill or support is required. Be sure to print the racks upside down (as in the .3mf file). Upper surface finish will depend upon your build plate.

If you print these in another material, let me know whether the snap-fit mechanism works well in that material. I'm especially curious if this mechanism would still work with autoclavable polypropylene, and how much the dimensions would change in the autoclave.
