I designed this light for a friend, in my opinion, it is perfect for use as a bedside nightlight. I ended up designing two different feet for the project. The first iteration I didn't much care for, so I made a more basic version.

The model was designed to accept 4x6 (101.6x152.4mm) photos. You put the lithophanes in the frame by inserting the lithophane into the top, then push it back, and finally drop it down into the base. The top of the light has a 4x4 square for whatever you wish to put there.

There is a shade of DIY to this project as you will need LEDs, a switch, a power source, some wire, super glue, and hot glue. Here is a list of the materials that I used, you're not limited to these, though beware that switches and power adapters may have different dimensions. I personally soldiered everything, but you could use butt connectors instead.

Black PLA

White PLA

LED roll

24v Power Adapter

Toggle Switch

Bumper buttons

Everything can be printed at .2mm layer height, some models do require supports, but overall I really try to design things to use bridging instead. You will need to print one top piece, 4 corner pieces, one base, and 4 feet. There is a small indent around where the power adapter piece goes on the inside for you to fill with hot glue to ensure that it doesn't move anywhere. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me.
