A rotating holder to attach an oil ladder hourglass toy to an activity board or any other surface. That way the hourglass can't be flung by toddlers.

Print the front face down.

The hourglass is available from various sellers and platforms, here's the one I got from AliExpress.

Add a little grease to the inner side of the ring to make the rotation smoother. (I used Nigrin multi-purpose grease). The backplate is meant to protect the surface underneath from the grease and to reduce friction. Consider sanding elements that rub against each other.

Use 3.5mm wood screws. The required length is 5.6mm + depth that goes into the wood.

Optionally add 4x10mm cylinder magnets to the front and the wood (pre-drill holes on a horizontal line using the backplate to get the right distance) to offer haptic feedback when the hourlass is level after a 180° rotation.

Included: Fusion360 and STEP files in case you want to adjust things like screw type, magnet size, or the front face (I chose to keep the upper/lower oil containers visible). Note: the version shown in the photographs takes up a little more space than the uploaded version, which I slimmed down a bit. The screenshot dimensions are those of the uploaded files.
