This is a 3d printable model of the EMD F7 A Unit. The model is made in 1:48 scale (O-Gauge).
The construction manual contains now the information for building the mechanics and also the electronics (English dated version of the construction manual).
The axles, gears and the locomotive are 3d printed. For building this model you need some additional parts:
- M3 and M2 Screws (We recommend to buy a set of screws on Amazon)
- Roulade Needles (The work as a bearing for the axles)
- A DC Motor 28mm diameter
For electronics, you can use either the same electronics as in the OS Railway Locomotives, designed by depronzed, or your can use the electronics described in the construction manual of this model.
In the manual an ESP32 and the Arceli L298N Motorcontroller Board is used to control the locomotive. Also th Locomotive can be controlled remote via Wifi through using the ESP32 webserver functionalities.
The Printing Files in the folder Files.zip are all the print files yo need, to build the modle. In this folder, the files are organized by component.
For tracks you can use the OS Railway tracks, desined by depronized.
