This is a Chromaphane of Cowboy Patrick made using Lithophane Maker's Lithophane Maker Desktop software (LMD). A chromaphane is a type of filament painting (yes, it is similar to HueForge), but the way a chromaphane is generated is different from how a HueForge is generated.

This chromaphane uses 6 filament colors: blue, white, orange, tan, brown, and black.

The print in the photo shown was done on a Bambu X1-C with one AMS unit, however, it is possible to print this without an AMS or multi-material unit by manually swapping the loaded filament at each height swap.

There is a text file with the instructions for which layers to swap the colors at.

If you scale the file in the Z axis at all, the layer heights for the color swaps will no longer be accurate. So if you want to scale the file larger or smaller, only scale it in the X and Y axis.

This Chromaphane was designed to be printed with a 0.10mm layer height, if you print it at a different layer height the color swaps won't be accurate. For the best results print it with all top/bottom layers and no infill (similar to how a lithophane would be all perimeters with no infill).
