The design is simple yet effective, allowing for easy storage and dispensing with minimal effort.
Printing Instructions:
- Material: PLA is recommended, though other materials should work fine.
- Supports: The base should be printed with supports to ensure proper structure. No supports are needed for the lid or button.
Assembly Instructions:
Install the Elastic Band: Stretch an elastic band between the two screw pillars inside the base. This will provide the necessary tension for the button mechanism.
Insert the Button: Slide the button into the opening. Apply pressure to push the tabs past the retaining posts. The elastic band should wrap around the button.
Attach the Lid: Attach the lid to the dispenser base. You can use screws or glue, depending on your preference. Screws are preferred and longer ones are better as they stiffen the posts that the elastic is wrapped around.
Attach the Bottle: The bottle should snap into place by turning it into the slot. If your printer’s tolerances are off, you may need to sand the edges for a better fit. Profit.
