The Cybertruck HFS exterior is amazingly tough. Can withstands handgun bullets and even C4. However, it leaves fingerprints. These are designed to attach to the inside via heavy duty 3M double sided tape and provide a convenient handle to pull the door shut after leaving the vehicle without smudging the panel.
Installation:
- Familiarize yourself with the installation surface by test-fitting the model before applying tape/adhesive. Model was designed to follow along the edge where the outer panel is welded to the inner frame.
- Clean both surfaces thoroughly with alcohol or Windex.
- Apply the tape to the print first - it is a complex surface so will likely need multiple strips and trimming.
- 3M doesn't give second chances (once it touches it is attached) so very slowly and carefully move into position covering the final mm moving toward the top corner.
- Press firmly along all mating surfaces.
Update: I added versions for the rear doors as well (files ending with “R”).
