Made this to more easily move my stationary flight simrig around when needed using workbench castors.
This is for an 880lb workbench castor from amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FDFJXK5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
This uses a weird mix of ¼"-20 screws and m8 bolts
Printing Tips:
100% infill rectilinear pattern
Hardware Per Adapter:
6x ¼"-20 x 1½" Coarse Thread Socket Flat Head Cap Screw
6x ¼"-20 Coarse Thread Hex Nut
4x M8 x 1.25 x 16 Socket Head Cap Screw
4x M8 Thread T Spring Nut
Installation:
Attach Workbench Caster to adapter using ¼"-20 screws and nuts
Attach to x080 aluminum using m8 bolts and T Spring Nuts
Photo Comments:
The area my simrig is in carpet. You can see the regular foot sunken into the carpet on the right of the first photo, and upon lifting, the foot is sitting just above the carpet, allowing the rig to move freely.
