Someone on MakerWorld kindly asked me to design some cheerleader stuff as her daughter loves to re-enact cheerleader scenes.
But how can you design halfway realistic pompoms?
After much deliberation and many less successful designs, I decided not to design them, but to take a different approach
So here is a pompom hand :)
Printing:
- The provided 3MF file can be used with Bambu Studio/Orca slicer
- Arachne wall generator
- Layer height 0.16mm
- Use outer brim
Assembly:
- Clean the slits
- Use small pieces of gift ribbon (as many as you like)
- Slide them into the slits and fix them with some glue
- Pull the ribbons over a sharp knife so that they curl
- Tear them into small strips with a needle
- Cut them to the desired length and shape them
