I’m working on goodies to give kids at Halloween and decided this old Slide Puzzle would be fun. I decided to make my own design.
Notes:
- I put comments into pictures
- I printed these parts in PLA (std settings) on a Bambu Labs X1 Carbon
- The frame only takes 14 minutes to print and a set of Slide Parts takes 18 minutes
- To give a sense of scale, the puzzle is 2in (51.4mm) square and .14in (3.6mm) Tall
- Had to dial in the slide interface to give good overlap, give a good snap fit and keeping friction free movement
- This is pretty much a onetime assembly. Might not get it apart once assembled
- I liked how the color of the frame highlights the numbers, makes them very visible
