This module is designed to fit into the rear of the A1200.net case and houses a SD card socket, a HDMI extension and optionally the DB9 mouse connector. A 1D4 revision will often have this as a single socket on a short cable unless you are using the original RF shield or a rear panel as sold by Centuriontech.
The module is held into the A1200 case by one M3 bolt through the existing case hole. The lid is held on by lugs on the right and one or two bolts mating with brass inserts (depending on version).
There is a version with the mouse section, also one without. I am currently using the one without as I have the Centuriontech stainless rear panel, that mounts the mouse connector.
If using a SD card with an extension like this be aware that some people have reported corruption of cards… I removed the resistor from the SD socket and I have not. But do frequent backups anyway.
I have not had a floppy drive mounted at the same time as this yet but the STLs include an angled cut that should allow it to go in with no interference.
