Intro
This is a fun micro frisbee designed to be super compact and lightweight, yet it flies surprisingly well for its size. At only 18 cm in diameter, it’s perfect for printing on any 3D printer — even smaller ones like a Prusa Mini or Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
Whether you want a quick outdoor toy, a pocket-friendly flying disc, or a simple fun print for kids and adults alike, this micro frisbee delivers.
If you throw the frisbee, try to give it a really nice spin - by this it stabilizes and it will fly very nice.
Why you'll love it?
Compact Size (18 cm) — small but still fun to throw
Lightweight & Easy to Print — low material use and fast prints
Portable Toy — fits in backpacks and bags
Universal Printer Compatibility — prints on most 3D printers, big or small
Recommended print settings
0.4mm nozzle
0.2mm layers
Infill: 100%
Seam: random
Top fill pattern: concentric
Bottom fill pattern: concentric
Recommended: Use a textured steel sheet if possible. This will improve the grip.
The upper/flat side of the frisbee should be printed on the printer bed.
Works nice with PLA or also PETG filament. TPU should also work, which would make it quite soft (but did not try this kind of filament).
Filament recommendation
I printed this model using Prusa Prusament and got great results. See below for my recommendations.
