Papyrus are fast growing ornamental plants and makes a lot of new stems from the bottom. You hold them if needed with a cord or thread together. One week later is a new stem outside the tied part. You have to open the bundle and tie it again.
This tool makes the “tie again process” easier. You can open and close the cord closure.
