A great modification for the Z axis wheel that is much pleasant for your thumb and offers better access and control.
UPDATE 2024-10-01:
It seems like newer revisions of the STECS throttle have remade the whole assembly for this part to the point that this knob doesn't fit anymore. I would gladly receive detailed measurements in DM so I can design another version of this for newer STECS revisions.
UPDATE 2025-05-21
I have now designed and uploaded the version for the Mk.2 STECS for this part as well. Also added a ridge that helps you find the current position of the axis.
UPDATE 2025-06-11
There are two versions for the Mk.2 grip. Version 1 is if your axis has a small lip jutting out from the mounting point that acts as a stop. Version 2 is if you have a small integrated stop on the “inside” of the potentiometer assembly.
