Print the mold using supports on the one overhanging face. Use this rim for some small clamps while casting.
Bill of materials
- Printed parts
- 2x M3x12 BHCS/SHCS
- Two component silicone for instance Trollfactory High Temp Silicone if you're in the EU
Tools
- Hex key 2/2.5mm
- Parallel pliers
- Syringe 1-5mL
- Something to mix the silicone in and with
- Small clamps
- Flathead screwdriver/blade
How to use it

Inject the silicone using a small syringe. You will need about 3-4mL.

After the silicone has hardened, use a flathead screwdriver or a knife to pry the mold apart.

Drive a couple of M3 screws into the holes on the plug. They will form the necessary threads themselves.

Use some parallel pliers to pull the plug and sock out of the mold.
After the screws have been removed the mold can be reused.

Pull the plug out of the mold, clean up some flashing and it's done and ready for use.

Put it on your Chube to make it 69% more attractive, with less radiating heat onto your printed part and more efficient use of those watts!
