Slide top and bottom parts onto the rails, then when sliding into the printer make sure the snap fit near the bed is connected first, then slide in the other pins, if they don't fit you can squeeze them.

test fit the adapter on the air fryer, it should be a snug fit, then remove, cut off the remaining connector on the knob and glue large cross shaped part onto it, then you can put the knob back on the air fryer
