The sliding dovetail is made to fit into the dovetail on the RMS clamp. When printing, I put the face that presses on the glass down on the bed, so it would be smooth. I used variable layer height in Prusa Slicer to speed up the print.…
I thought the price for the Apogee wand was nuts, and I have a bunch of ½" PVC laying around, so I made this. Seems to work pretty well. I printed without supports.
Printed without support. Holds the skimmer controller very nicely. I have it screwed to some plywood. I forget the size screw that I used, but it was some normal size flat head screw from the hardware store. Probably #8 if I had to guess.
