This is more a idea than a novelty. I found these cable boxes seriously overpriced on the market, so I quickly designed my own. Nothing really fancy here. ===Update 25.01.2022=== I also uploaded the f3d file, feel free to modify and…
I recently upgraded my camera from Sony A7M2 to Sony A7C. As much as I love small form factor cameras, the ergonomic of A7C is not ideal for my hands. I have seem people using thumb rest for Leica & Fuji cameras and I have always though…
My space in our lab fridge is a mess – many times i had to move out all the tubes in order to get the only one that I was looking for. They were lying flat, stacking on top of each other. So I designed this tube holder. This helps me to…
I got an Ikea BILLY bookshelf from a friend but he told me that he could not find the supporting pins for the shelf board (should be part number: 131372). So I made these parts with some quick dimensioning. They fit quite nicely and have…
I bought a Nikon FA with the motorized grip, so it did not come with the hand grip. I designed this small printable grip to emulate the original accessary. Fitting is illustrated in the pic. The first time it might be a bit tight. Secure…
On my search to improving my A7C's ergonomic, I found Widget's camera grip for A7C ii/ R. I really appreciate the idea and printed one for fitting. Unfortunately, the grip size is different. Fortunately, the base plate is almost identical…

This is a remix of my previously designed Display box with Pi Zero2 mount . Commonly seen 15cm cable is not enough if the camera is mounted on Xmotor, since a high Z position will disconnect the camera. I am inspired by the ball joint…
The Raspberry Pi Zero2 is such capable yet small machine that fits perfectly with Mini. So I modified the display box file and added this side mount for the pi zero. No support needed. Ideally one should use the w version without the GPIO…

The new power bricks of Macbooks did not came with the foldable cable organizer. Despite having the reputation of destrying the cable, that idea was quite brilliant. I do find the need for having such a storage method and it make…
I need a poster tube for conference poster, so I made one that can be easily printed and assembled. Now I use it to store long materials. The idea is to print single sections with vase mode (with or without bottom layer) and assemble them…
The hinged transformation is really interesting. Using 3D printing to recreate the process is super intuitive. I created this model with the idea that all the hinges should be print-in-place. The hinge might need a bit force to break free…
Plating on 384 well plate can be very exhausting and making one mistake makes the analysis super complicated. With my labmates I made this 384 well PCR stencil, which you could put on top of the plate to visualise smaller sections of the…
This is a remix of my thumb rest.
I enjoy a lot using my keyboard together with the Apple Trackpad. It is so efficient and saved a lot of my desk space. However, one thing I do notice is that my wrist fatigue very quickly because I have to move in between different height…
I had a lot of fun designing my previous Origami stand for instax square cartridge . The origami design brings new possibility to printing 3D structure and it is so surprisingly reliable. However, one could only choose 1 photo per…
