I was able to eliminate light leakage from top or sides by using the optional more thick face mask from DJI, but that mask offers no protection around the nose. I did lots of experiments with foam or other third-party face masks, but no…
I was not sure if protectors designed for M365 will also fit for my 1S, so I designed my own one. If printed with transparent TPU you can still see the display and press the button without removing the protector. I have included the…
Just put a Caddx Vista unit together with a 30x30x6mm fan and a 5V regulator into a special designed housing to be used as a standalone unit for applications without guaranteed cooling and flight controller, e.g. into the hull of my FPV…
After my Ture-D receiver has died, probably from too much mechanical stress, I have replaced it by an AkkTek receiver (a clone) and designed my own housing based on ideas from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4316407 . To avoid strong…
This is a housing design to be used with the open source head tracker from https://github.com/dlktdr/HeadTracker . My goal was to use it for both my Fatshark and DJI goggles by simple attachment with velcro. You can use either the NANO33…
I designed this battery for 3s 18650 cells to never run into low voltage warnings about 7.5V as happens when using standard 2s batteries from my Fatshark goggles. The battery will fit into your trousers pocket, can be clipped onto your…
Tired about the Mavic Mini or Mini 2 propellers dangling around and fearing they could be bended or broken during transport? These straps will secure them. UPDATE FROM 20-02-23: Reduced version 3 from 3 to 2 layers to get it more…
Build your own eLRS PWM receiver for conventional r/c models, based on the Matek CRSF-PWM-C board and e.g. a BetaFpv Nano receiver. Other receivers might fit as well. You can cut the antenna lock to make room for getting a GPS cable out…
I am using an oxygen concentrator at night to manage my sleep apnea. Since these devices are very loud and disruptive to sleep, I've moved it to an adjacent room. This hose connector is used to connect a 7-meter-long oxygen extension tube…
The B2 is the smallest All-in-One camera module from AKK. You should print in ABS as the camera becomes too hot for PLA, Print Settings Printer: Anycubic I3 Mega Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 or 0.2mm Infill: 100% Notes: ABS:…
I designed this housing for upgrading my old amphibic Mariner II / SplashDrone, which was equipped with a GoPro 3 in a watertight gimbal and analog video before. As the Vista produces a lot of heat and needs efficient cooling it cannot be…
The DJI O4 Air Unit is a perfect video transmission and recording solution for small copters, such as whoops. But it can take up to 9W power which leads to overheating if there is no quite strong air flow around. So it is not possible to…
Often I wished I could attach accessories to my X-Lite Pro, e.g. a GoPro or a smartphone. So I just made a prototype. The construction is based on the original FrSky neck strap brace, to which I screwed a 3D-printed GoPro adapter.…
By default JR connectors are intended only for use with r/c servos and 5V r/c power supply, but many of us are using them also for connecting other things such as video cameras, higher voltage or different types of interface. So there is…
The HT-201 is an inexpensive IR camera module for your smartphone with fixed focus. If you want to use it in near range, such as for locating hot spots on pcb boards the image is not very sharp. You can improve the sharpness and therefore…
The Beta 95X from BetaFpv is a nice little whoop with DJI's digital video system using Caddx Vista. However, BetaFpv failed both with delivering an acceptable canopy and providing jello-free video. A better canopy design is already…
I am used to fly my drones with fpv goggles. DJI has introduced the Mavic Mini which I was eager for, but they don't yet offer any goggle support, neither for their own DJI Goggles nor via VR mode within their Fly app. So I searched for…
I got a small USB load from eBay which is an unprotected PCB. To protect against short circuits by accident I designed a cover which tightly fits onto the board. FreeCad source included for adaption in case of tolerances. Print Settings…
I could not resist buying this little GPS-stabilised Airwolf on a local exhibition. The Airwolf is offered with different brands, e.g. Eachine E188S, FliteZone and many others. As I am normally flying FPV copters I wanted to add FPV…
I am actually refitting my old SplashDrone II with a PixHawk 4 Mini flight controller and found a very small OSD module for it. But as it is intended for race copters it is just a board without housing. So I designed a housing for it and…
