An original travels flute based on an early Naust design , it also works well scaled to approx 93% to play in A 440 Prints well in PLA with supports Two keys one is a bit sorter, which I find easier to use.
The original is curved to the left making it an oddity, and more comfortable using the right hand top most, this modification curves it to the right making it far more comfortable for playing with more usual top left hand.
Printed in PLA at 0.12 layer, 6 walls 25% infill. I use a 2 layer raft for better adhesion, printed upside down, finished, polished with 600 then 1200 paper to ensure smooth radius edges.
Printed in plain PLA 0.12 layer, 6 walls 25% with a 2 layer raft and tree supports on build plate. I will work straight from printer, but it is worth finishing it off with fine paper to a smooth finish, and radius the edges.
