This contraption is the result of a bored person with access to 3D designing tools. I, personally, like it, but tastes may vary. Comes in 2 versions: with and without a “reinforcement” beam, and should be printable without supports.

The flywheel now has a thin ring holding it while it prints, which should break free easily. And I didn't have magnets for the bit so I made the fit tighter so friction can do it's thing.

Entry for a contest. Vase designed by “lofting” a few square and circle sketches.
This is a vase that I designed by using 5 polygons (octagon, heptagon, hexagon, pentagon, and square) as reference, and a circle for the opening. It prints well at any scale and with any material, and is intended to be printed in Vase Mode.
