Take the gun apart and place the plug in the chamber so that the end sticks out of the barrel. Be sure to print in orange or yellow so that others can tell that the weapon is safe. Print with supports.

Print horizontal at 90%- 100% infill. I used ABS and Draft mode for the layer height. I included the Solid Works file so that you can modify it to what you need. You can add text when you slice it. It's Dimensions are 8" by 3" by 1 1/2"
