For many design solutions or modifications, drag cable chains are necessary for a proper cable routing and guidance. I have found easier to print the complete chains in one piece. The chain elements are modified to be printed without…
3D Benchy might be a good testing model, but with correct settings and with the printer more or less in good shape it is not really a challenge. I did the D4 Benchy Cruiser to test the printer and the slicer abilities harder. As modeled,…
You might remember the (Stargate) Goa'uld mother-ship design... :) A quick test model provided for printer setup. It includes the "worst" geometry to be printed in the main models and could save you same time and filament :) Print…
The AI3M is an excellent entry level 3d printer. It has a rigid mainframe, a very good heat bed, decent electronics, a good display with touchscreen and a low acquisition price. The main weak points are the unreliable hot-end assembly,…

Very challenging 3D print. Enjoy :) Basic surfaces (iges and step files) added for future developments - generated with FreeCAD 0.18. Edit - my 3d print has failed - the extruder did not manage to do the job... so I changed slightly the…

I like the shape - but I don't have a clear idea what I should finally get with it. Initially my intention was to get the body for a strange monster car... I think I will buy a real solar garden light with a round solar photocell area,…
The Japanese Kumiko geometry is well known for its repetitive patterns with fractalic behavior. I have seen a few other constructions on the same idea - but all very difficult to be set in the “flying” position. A small tooling device…
Simple model with some occasional utility. Please use PETG for any 3D print that might touch real food. Post printing perfect cleaning is required. I used a blade and lot of sanding. Finally I have applied a thin layer or alimentary oil…
