My wife mentioned she'd like a hanger for her SUV to use with a purse or bag so I surprised her by designing this model (she liked it so points scored!). Unlike Amazon products this one attaches securely and can't fall or slip off the…
May 2026: Added a larger V2 so we could keep more pens handy at the fridge. This necessitated using larger magnets so I switched to these roughly 3mm thick items . The model has room for 12 magnets but in my case 8 was more than enough.…
My wife recently got an upgraded spatula for rice. It has a metal core and silicone exterior. However it was a bit too wide to fit in the holder that came with the rice cooker. This model fixes that and also holds the spatula more…
I frequently make quick use of my cordless Dremel tool and like to have it handy. Previously I hung it on a wall using the included metal hoop but that always left it facing away from me (so turning it on and off and controlling the speed…
This customizable case was designed to house my second hotspot built one using a Pi 4 that was gathering dust plus the Aursinc radio hat (AURSINC MMDVM Hotspot Board (V1.5.2) + Antenna + OLED). Instead of using the ubiquitous Pi-Star…
I like this Eve Room sensor - small and provides several good metrics such as indoor air quality, temperature and humidity. It integrates well with Apple HomeKit. But the holes on the back are kind of funky and don't lend themselves well…
A couple of years ago I created a simple weather station using a M0 feather board and a TFT touch display to hang in our closet. We like to see the weather when getting dressed in the morning. My original mounting was just a bare piece of…
My wife showed me a handful of the small sample perfume bottles stores generally hand out for free (or with a purchase). She had several that she likes and wants to have handy so she asked for a case to place on her vanity next to other…
We keep a magnetic notepad on the side of our fridge for our grocery list. We had a pencil cup on the counter to have pens and pencils handy but it was slightly annoying and often in the way. I recently purchased a mixed package of larger…
As I've begun printing figures my bookshelf was getting crowded amongst some other souvenirs and trinkets. I thought I could make much more efficient use of the corners with a 3 tiered stand. I printed this using Hatchbox Black PLA and I…
I've gotten into stationery for planning, diary and sketching projects and have begun acquiring quite a few pens and pencils. I wanted to have them handy on my desk so I designed this 4 shelf stand which holds them at an angle. Depending…
I use a Tapo C100 camera to monitor 3D print progress. This is an inexpensive camera which is effective for this purpose and doesn't require a cloud service. I run a script on a Linux box that pushes images to Prusa Connect as well as…
This model was created from scratch using Fusion 360 and is designed to provide tight-fitting slots for 6 hand tools such as screwdrivers, nut drivers, hex drivers and other hand tools featuring a narrow shaft with a handle. I found that…
I recently upgraded to a M4 Mac Mini which has two USB-C type ports on the front. I didn't like having the cables running off to the side (see last photo) so I designed this short, minimalist, stand which allows the typical cables to run…
This is a remix of my previous pen/pencil shelf. In this remix I added a divider in the middle of each shelf in order to keep the pens neater. Without the divider having so many pens on one shelf looked sloppy. No supports needed if…
This is a simple storage case with 4 spots for coin cell batteries. In my case I use it for CR2450, CR2032, CR 2025 and CR1632 sized cells but it is suitable for any similar sized cells. There are thumb slots for each set of cells to ease…
After making a few kitchen and general purpose signs with embedded magnets I decided to create a general purpose model. Maybe someone else could use this. The model has a cavity for inserting magnets and the 3MF file includes a pause…
We needed to add a garage opener button in a second location and rather than run a cable through the wall I just created this mount to hold it securely and stably to the wall. Our opener is for a LiftMaster which measures about 77mm x…
I recently decided to get into planning using a Hobonichi Cousin so of course I needed to expand and upgrade my writing implements. Having them handy on my desktop is a key to using them and I couldn't find a model I liked with high…
I had been using a stand that held calipers and other tools horizontally but it really took up too much space. This is a compact vertical stand that holds calipers, a standard 12 inch (300mm +) metal ruler, a 15cm plastic ruler, a fillet…
I put together and programmed a Adafruit feather M0 with a 3.5" TFT display to use as an internet-connected bedside clock. Initially I had it mounted to a simple stand but it wasn't very attractive so I decided to create a model for a…
I've had one of these 7" 800x480 displays for awhile which were purchased to aid in debugging computers that were normally running headless. It's very handy to be able plug a small display in and see startup, log or error messages. It…
I'm a fan of Prismacolor pencils and keep a wide range of colors in my desk drawer. But there are a few colors I use frequently and I wanted to have them more at hand. So I designed this small desktop stand that holds 6 colors as well as…
I used Steve's model https://www.printables.com/model/1016997-prusa-gpio-hackerboard-cover to mount my hacker board to the frame (it's a great model). I removed the “plug” in the cable holder which is normally punched out to connect the…
My wife wanted a stand to hold her iPhone upright and that she could easily move around the house. The stand has front and corner edges that hold the phone in place while still allowing actions such as swipe up from the bottom. The stand…
I usually have two notebooks in active use at a time normally laying flat on my desk. But since switching from the relatively bulky Leuchtturm notebooks to the svelte Campus notebooks I realized I could easily create a stand hold them…
The Ninja DualBrew was built to accommodate a coffee pot/carafe but has a flip-down stand to use when making a cup's worth (see third picture of stand flipped down). Some in my family use traditional sized mugs but others use tall mugs…
I am using more diverse types of filament as well as a wider range of model types and wanted a way to keep track of the details of the currently installed nozzle. I saw some folks using signs but with a lot of combinations that felt…
