If you have a set of homekit blinds from Ikea and a cat, you probably also have to deal with a noise that it makes when the blinds are closed and the cat hits the bottom aluminium bar against the glass with its paw (OK, maybe only my cat…
I printed with 5 walls, 15% infill, no supports. seems very sturdy so far. I will probably end up printing these in white in the future so they blend in a bit better. Important Dimensions: keeps blinds 25mm from the wall How to mount: 1.…
I really like the idea from geeklimit, but I was not able to finish the project in europe. Looking for cheap pipe with ca D=25mm I found grey drain pipe DN25. They are up to 2,5mm long, but I think it will hang bent. On my 160mm wide…

If you use the Ikea Fyrtur blinds with the window open (or live with @f4r0kh's cat ), you might be annoyed by the sound of the bottom aluminum rod banging against the window frame. F4r0kh 's bumpers do a great job of covering the rod's…
We have an arch window above a tall rectangular window, with a large mullion between the two. Since the top of the window area was arched, I decided to mount the blind in front of the mullion, below the arch window. The Ikea blind…

If you, as me is a bit clumsy from time to time and managed to break the acrylic part of the IKEA Fyrtur wall mounts, this is the perfect replacement. It's a bit more fragile than the original part, but should do the trick if you're a bit…
These stoppers are supposed by be mounted on the side of a fyrtur blind using the reduced improved mount . A small aluminium bar can be used to prevent the blind from being stuck in the frame and forcing the blind to be flush against the…

I really liked the original model, but needed a smaller border and easier access to the buttons. I also had issues where the blinds would sometimes sneak up behind the stopper, and then would get stuck there. The added slot does make the…
When cutting an Ikea Fyrtur blind down to size one of the tasks is to remove the end cap from the bottom rail so that the bottom rail can be cut down to size too. It is very easy to scratch the end cap or the rail when doing this (source:…
