Inspired by the “Pokeball inspired Vase” from @Deltaprints, this model is designed on FreeCAD to allow printing the four parts in different colours on a simple FDM printer or even an SLA one.
The parts will then just fit and align together.
The FreeCAD file include a “Spreadsheet” with the main parameters. You can then change the overall size but also the specific parameters for the vase and the fitting tolerance.
The prints need supports and I printed mine on a MK4 printer with dual colour silk PLA with 0.05 ULTRADETAILED parameters (the only problem I encounter is the veined artefacts on the lower part).
There is room in the vase to add weight and stabilise it (initially the lower part were designed to be printed with few percent gyroid infill and the perced and filled with sand, but it wasn't needed to withstand the Lego flowers).
