This holder mechanically attaches to the multiboard using threaded screws (see https://www.printables.com/model/980088-multiboard-compatible-bolt-for-small-thread )
The caldigit generates significant heat, so there is a clearance between the board and the device. The honeycomb used in the sides hopefully helps too.
If printed in the orientation provided, it does not need supports.
When assembling, pay attention to the curvature of the back of the caldigit (the front has corners). that means that you have to make sure the holder curvature is at the back.
