print with supports touching build plate in something stiff and not prone to creep. I used glass fiber ABS. this is designed to use 605 bearings. the bearing bore should be scraped to fit
the top face of the bearing is 20mm from the bottom surface, with 15.5mm of clearance between the mounting plate and the underside of the bearing. this should fit the x axis on most extrusion-framed bedslingers, y axis can be a little more questionable, but it's very much worth trying there.
this allows you to run much higher belt tension, which will allow greater acceleration and significantly reduces stress on the motor. even with limited engagement as seen in the photo you can expect significant improvements there.
