Bill of Material

MaterialQtySourceInformation
12V/5A Power Supply1 This depends highly on the drives and SBC, 5A should cover the most of them
80mm 4Pin-Fan 12V1 A 3-Pin Fan will also work, but it is louder and less stylish
Drive2 I use WD Purple
Raspberry Pi B1 Every Raspberry Pi B should do it, but a 4 or 5 will give you better performance
Sata/USB Converter2 Need to have an external 12V power supply, that converts the 12V also to 5V
Sata extention 15cm/6"2
M4 Nuts
M4 Insters6
M4x10 Fillister4
M4x10 Countersunk2
M4x60 Countersunk4
M4x50 Countersunk6
Wood screws 4x20mm8
Wood 18mm thick-
Bee wax-
RJ45 Extension1
PCB1 BOM is as a HTML file
5,5x2,1mm Jack1 or 5,5x2,5mm so it fits the power supply
5,5x2,5mm Plug2 for the Sata/USB converter
12mm Button1
Wire 0,14mm²40cm to wire up the button to the pcb
JST-HX Connector 2-pol3 for the Power and HDDs
Zip tie4 To fasten the sata extensions in the drive bay

Printing

I printed mostly from non-flamable PETG.
Stettings were also mostly standard.
And the orientations like shown.
Support material or skirt isn’t needed (I am a little bit proud of that).

I printed it on a MK4.

Fan Filter

  • PETG
  • No Top or bottom layer
  • Honeycome 20%

I used a different color, so it has some excent.

Fan Filter Inner

  • flame resitent PETG
  • No Top or bottom layer
  • Grid 50%

Wood jig

  • PLA
  • 5 perimeters

Status Ring

  • clear PETG
  • gyro infill (scatters the light better)
  • 5 perimerters for the inserts (I think it helps, but could be false)

Fan Damper and Fan Spacer

  • Flex/TPU
  • Spacer 4x

PETG or PLA works also but TPU helps with the noise of the fan.

Mainboard Spacer

  • flame resitent PETG
  • Spacer 4x

All other parts

  • flame resitent PETG

I don't thing that it will be burst into flames, but better save the sorry.
