My 4" / 110mm bathroom extractor fan needed maintenance, but the external grille fell apart due to UV damage over some years. The external fitting is sealed into render, and several floors up, so rather than climb up and have to reseal the wall, this insert fits from the inside into the fan pipe.
The design is fully customisable for different fans, and the louvre size can be changed to keep your local insect population out. Load the script into openSCAD to change sizes. Measure carefully, as my builders managed to warp the soil-pipe offcut used as a duct.
The model has simple lines to print faster, and is chamfered to as not to need supports.
The print came off the bed of a MK4S in about an hour with ABS filament - recommended to resist UV sunlight. Perimeters are more useful than infill for the grille.
