As I was new to using a Maslow CNC machine and wanted to prevent any potential damage to my machine, the bits, or wood during my learning process, I chose to develop a marker adapter for the Maslow 4. This would allow me to familiarize myself with the machine and how to control it using G-code, while also observing the results.
Additionally, I can now utilize the Maslow 4 as a large-scale plotter.
The marker adapter consists of three components:
1. A base that secures to the Maslow 4 sled.
2. A marker holder featuring a spring inside.
3. A small ring that clamps the marker in place.
The only parts that cannot be 3D printed are the spring and the marker. I purchased mine from AliExpress:
The spring has a diameter of 12mm and a height of 50mm.

Note: Some users on the Maslow forum reported tolerance issues, and scaling the model down by 1% may resolve this.
