Thanks to Steiner-Se for suggesting and testing this model, as well as providing the pics of the printed design.
Since these models may be used with electrical components, if you use these models, it is at your own risk. These models will not meet code requirements, so use your best judgement if they should be used in your application or not. If unsure, consult an expert or professional (not me). In general, I suggest using a flame retardant filament for any prints that will hold electronic components.
This is a remix of the Pi 4 (or 3B) Mount (raspi low height dinrail mount.stl) from Frogree's Low Profile DIN rail mounts collection and Ramalama2's Stiffer DIN Rail Mount. The modification was requested by a Voron builder who needed a tighter DIN rail mount, and also needed to have the Pi shifted back 5mm from the original design, as they were working with the tighter constraints of a Voron 300mm electronics bay, but were happy with Frogree's low profile mount otherwise.
To summarize, the changes here are:
- Tighter DIN clip using RamaLama2's Stiffer DIN Rail Mount.
- Pi is shifted back 5mm from the original design. This means the USB port side of the Pi is shifted back 5mm, and the SD card side is shifted forward 5mm.
- Added a 2.4, 3 and 4mm standoffs.
8/28/2025: Added a model with pi mounting holes that go all the way through the mount, without any pockets on the bottom side. This is named “Pi_mount_remix_no_screwhead_pockets.stl.”

Before using this, be sure to check that you need a Pi mount that shifts the Pi back by 5mm. Only the 4mm standoff has been tested, however the others should work fine, since they are at least 1mm taller than the original washer standoffs.
I used the original Pi mount as a basis for this remix, and integrated the tighter DIN clip, and also made some changes to make the install process a bit simpler, and improve access to the SD card. There is a 4mm standoff included, which is used between the mount and the Pi, to provide clearance for the components on the bottom of the Pi and allow the mount to print without supports. The standoff is required to use the mount.
If you find these models useful, please post a like or a comment with some pics of your prints.

Changelog:
10/4/2024: Uploaded design to Printables.
10/4/2024: Added missing 3mm and 2.4mm standoffs, also updated the 3mf.
8/28/2025: Added a model without the screwhead pockets in the base of the mount. It's named “Pi_mount_remix_no_screwhead_pockets.stl.”
