This heavy duty gate latch is sure to be kick-proof from even the hardiest of Amazon drivers. That is why I made this. Amazon drivers kept kicking my fence gate even though there is a sign clearly directing them to go around to get to my door.
It requires 10 screws and washers long enough to anchor into the fence. The nob also has a hole for a screw and if you decide to use it make sure the screw doesn't go all the way through or it won't open/close properly. It's just meant to reinforce the nob in case there is issues at the layer line.
Use whatever material you want. I used PETG. Tolerances are tight.
