Tuttobimbo Vintage Toy Train Axle Replacement

This is a custom replacement axle designed for the Tuttobimbo Italian vintage toy train.. If your original axle broke off, this 3D-printed part serves as the replacement to restore your classic toy.

Features:

• Compatibility: Specifically designed for the Tuttobimbo toy train.
• Assembly: Requires two small M2 screws to attach.  (I used M2*8 but other lengths will work as well). The original screw on the bottom-center can be reused, otherwise you'll probably also need an extra screw for that.
• Washers: This design works best with the original esthetic washers from the toy. If you want to reuse them, you'll need to carefully cut them off the broken axle, using tools like filament pliers. Alternatively, replacement washers can also be used.

• Infill: 70%+ recommended
• Supports
  • “Tree supports from build plate” for the wheel bearings
  • Alternatively, regular supports may work as well but may be harder to remove
• Can be printed in a flat orientation resulting in only needing supports for the wheel bearings (see above)
