Qidi X-Max 3 Camera Blink Mini 2 Mount

This camera mount fits in the very back center of the 3d printer on a piece of railing.

Camera prep, installing case and mount:

You do have to remove 2 screws from the back go the camera. The 2 screw are hidden under 2 rubber plugs. The camera should pull out after the screws are removed. The camera should slide in the printed case with a tight fit and no glue required. The mount is held in place by a 3mm*16 hex bolt and 3mm nut. A small zip tie is used to hold the plug in by going through the hole on the beam and around the plug. You will have to invert the camera picture in the settings in the app as the camera is installed upside down in the housing.

3d printer prep:

You need to drill a hole in the back of the electrical compartment lid, on the back of the 3d printer, to run the usb cord up to the camera. I could not see a better way to run it. The cord should come through at the bottom right side of the chamber. 

You will need the following following:

1ea. 3mm*16 hex bolt

1ea. 3mm nut

1ea. small zip tie

1ea. Blink Mini 2 camera

I printed with the following settings and filament:

filament-abs

Supports-yes

infill-90% (probably could do a lot less)
