There are already so many great options for mounting LEDs to our VORONs, however none of them were quite what I wanted, they either were o not much of an angle downwards or were designed to be mounted under the y carriage meaning I would need to drastically disassemble my printer and seen as I just built it I didn’t fancy that.
Thus, my solution is a simple mount designed for 8mm cob LED strips, the ones that can be cut to size however any led strip with good adhesive that’s 8mm will work. And it is mounted on the upper support bar which does require a little disassembly literally 2 screws, so I was fine with that. Also incorporated is a cable tie strain relief that uses the Voron specified 2mm cable ties.
I have included two models as per there names one is short and can be printed diagonally on a ZERO if that’s all you have the other is longer and is what is pictured that does need a larger build volume. Depending on what model you choose you either need 2 or 3 x m3x8mm and m3 nuts to be inserted in the rail.
