I've wanted to try printing ABS and ASA for a long time. I have a small room so I was a bit worried about my health.
I finally found a small HEPA filter with activated carbon, which also comes in a version that is supposed to absorb formaldehyde.
- 70mai AC02-2 Filter for Air Purifier Pro - formaldehyde - https://sklep.70mai.pl/pl/p/70mai-Filtr-AC02-2-do-Air-Purifier-Pro/68
- 70mai AC02-1 Filter for Air Purifier Pro - hepa + carbon only - https://sklep.70mai.pl/pl/p/Filtr-AC02-1-do-Air-Purifier-Pro/67
I created a housing for it that fits by pressing and uses the latches on the hooks from the original filter.
By the way, I decided to replace the original fan with something quieter and more efficient.
I chose the Sunon 92x92x25 - it fits without a problem, you just have to remove the small pieces of plastic marked in one of the photos.
Because I'm quite lazy, I resoldered the wires so as not to drag new ones from the fan.
I created a small adapter for this that can be screwed in place of the original 80x80 fan.
I didn't have any metal inserts on hand, so the project has modeled threads in plastic.
