Knife sharpener by Zmorr

I am a machine designer by profession and I made it from scratch myself, but I used many ideas from others (like Knife Sharpening Tool V2.1, some proffesional sharpeners avaliable on the market)
The main reason of my own design is swing bearing for guiding the rod (it is super simple and it work just perfect), simplification, optimisation of the design and standarisation of the parts you need to buy.

how it works
 

Parts to buy::
Pipes 10mm diameter length:
-500mm
-300mm
-180mm

swing bearing 1201 (12x32x10)
Standard stones or diamonds 160x23mm (I use diamond 400, 600 1000 and 2000)
spring 1,3 x 13 x~30mm
magnets 10x3 - 16 pc
Srews:
M5x18 1 pc (knife support)
M5x10 1 pc (stone fix; can be longer)
M5x18 2 pc (mast fix)
M5x12 1 pc (mast slider fix; can be longer)
Nuts:
M5 - 5 pc
some small  silicon bubbles to stick on bottom (3pc)

(if you dont have spring you can use bearing insert to add some distance)

Printing:
I used JAYO PETG
3 layers on wals and 20% infill 
I recomend to add more for some extra stiffness

Model is prepared for some future extras (scissors and some other stuff mounts)

Assembly remarks:
pipes are fiting really tight (that's how I wanted). If you printer will not make perfect holes for pipes use some sand paper or grinder.
Each adjacent magnet should have opposite polarity (in rows and columns). It will give you the highest fixing force. Secure magnets in place by inserts

It is far from perfect and can be improved in many details, but it is the best for my needs and its mine :)
