This model implements a secondary exoskeleton piece to fit over top a custom fit version of the original model. the TPU case will be flush with the PETG/PLA/Nylon etc., and there is texturing on the outer edges of the shell.
The shell acts as a means of dissipating force across more surface area of the TPU, effectively acting as a second layer of defense against drops, bumps, and more. With the relative inelasticity of the shell, you may need to make more than one. This is where this model shines, as your TPU case will last longer. All you need is the much more cost efficient shell to replace any damage to the previous one.
THE SHELL IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE ORIGINAL MODEL, I have only made a separate model to help with the aesthetic.
