Trying to replace a faucet in a bathroom, and I couldn't get an angle on those stupid plastic bolts underneath, and of course didn't have the right tool or even know what it was. Designed this to remove those plastic bolts. Designed to use your fingers, or stick something like a screw driver through for more torque if you have the space. You could just buy the tool on Amazon or something, or you could print it for the price of 39g of filament. You do the math.
I printed it in PLA with 7 wall loops and 30% gyroid infill. Worked like a charm! For a slight strength boost, randomize the seam position each layer so it doesn't fail at a seam. Looks ugly, but will take a beating better.
EDIT: 4/19/2026 - Added three more versions. One the same size, but with longer wings for more torque, and one that has the longer wings but is also a couple of inches longer. Also, a thiccer one. More torque = more better. I'd gotten a request for a longer one but not a specific length. In any case, some more versions for your plumbing pleasure. A year or so later I find myself in a plumbing pickle once more, and the original tool doesn't seem to be working. Hooray for builder grade junk!
If the thicc boy breaks while using it, it's probably time to get out the cutting tools.
