I was looking for an adapter that I could mount on my CNC that I could plug my Rigid Shop 2.5" shop vac into. I wanted something sturdy that will take come abuse and can be bumped into and not easily broken. The bolt holes are .25". In my photos I used 10-32 size screws with washers, lock washers and nuts.
On the otherside of the wall I have used Mr. Wizards 2.5" hose adapter to plug into my CNC on the inside of the enclosure. See the Link below to his adapter.
