Needed to attach a small 3" vent hose from a LASER cutter hood to a larger 6" vent hose on an inline “booster” duct fan. This takes advantage of the spring coil in the flex-hose on both ends to basically thread them into the printed part instead of using clamps or tape. It also has a block on one side that is meant to hang on a couple of “super hook” style drywall hanger-hooks (or any similar string/wire hanger).
ALERT: The coil-direction on both of my vent hoses was the reverse of normal threads (like those on screws, bottle lids, etc.) Before printing, check to be sure yours are the same. I'm curious if that coil-direction is standard. If you have a flexible vent hose that is coiled the other way (like normal threads), please leave a comment.
