My filament drybox uses some PC4-M10 tube connectors that route the filament out of the box to the printer.
My filament cleaner can be mounted inside the box on the PC4-M10 connector such that dust-free filament leaves the box. Moreover, since the cleaner is mounted at a fixed position, even if you rewind the filament after use, the cleaner stays in place and does not move on to the spool.
To install, simply screw the nut with the threaded side onto the PC4-M10 connector. Then click the body into the other side of the nut. Cut some sponge into shape, use your filament to make a hole in the middle of the sponge, stick the filament through the sponge, put the sponge in the body and click the lid on top. Done.
