Made this for my active harness. Everything is straight and simple so it keeps the harness centered. It's not the prettiest thing in the world, but it does it's job perfectly.
No drilling template… best guideline I have is:
Bolt on the center support, push the end supports onto the rod, snap the rod into the center support. Level/align it and then mark the drill holes. It's a real chore to remove the cover. The bolts are IIRC 8mm. The lengths I don't remember but you'll want to cut keep them short to then don't protrude too far on the other side. For the main brackets, I just used nuts though I really wanted to use rivnuts, 8mm are hard to get.
Needs a hardened steel rod 10mm x 370mm 10mm (I got mine from an old 3d printer) https://www.amazon.com/uxcell-Hardened-Chrome-Plated-Linear/dp/B07Q3GD21V
If you haven't cut this stuff before: use an angle grinder + cut-off disc and take care!!
Note: the center bolt was not actually in the center of the seat back on my seat. Makes no difference. But that's why the spacers are unequal length, easy to adjust in a slicer to your seat.
Main brackets were printed on their sides. 2 x one mirrored. 4 or 5 walls for strength. In PETG. The rest was in PLA.
